Assessment

A short consultation to personalize the session. Particular treatments may vary depending on your needs.

Steam Room Private or Semi-Private Treatments (1–1.5 hours including cooling breaks)

Most of the session takes place in the steam room with a combination of hot compresses, massage, and exfoliation.

– Dry Preheating

Gentle warming increases blood flow and primes fascia for treatment. Improves tissue pliability, reduces muscular guarding, and prepares joints and soft tissue for deeper work.

– Warm Peeling & Lymph Drainage

Light exfoliation stimulates skin renewal while drainage strokes reduce swelling and congestion. Enhances venous and lymphatic return, relieves fatigue, and supports detoxification by improving fascial hydration.

– Steam Room Massage

Massage in the steam environment allows for deeper muscle release with less discomfort. The combination of heat and manual therapy reduces stiffness, promotes endorphin release, and relieves chronic myofascial pain.

– Hot Compresses

Localized moist heat penetrates deeply into fascia and muscles, softening adhesions and fibrosis. Enhances circulation, reduces pain, and improves range of motion—especially helpful for back pain, neck tension, and postural stiffness.

– Steam Wrapping

The body is enveloped in dense steam, which relaxes fascia and calms the nervous system. Promotes parasympathetic dominance, lowers stress hormones, and restores systemic balance.

– Hot Reflexology

Thermal stimulation of reflex zones on the feet supports systemic regulation. Improves circulation, reduces stress-related tension, and helps restore biomechanical and energetic balance.

Individual Osteomassage (15 minutes)

Targeted manual therapy to release trigger points, ease referred pain, and restore joint mobility. Heat-primed tissues respond with greater elasticity, reducing therapist force and patient discomfort.

Bonus Non-Medical Osteopathy Massage (45 minutes)

Extended soft tissue therapy inspired by osteopathy principles. Enhances circulation, eases fascial restrictions, relieves emotional and muscular stress, and supports overall systemic regulation.

Positive effects of thermal-assisted therapy

Many scientific studies confirm the positive effects of sauna and thermal-assisted therapy on health and well-being. Documented results include:

  • Improved circulation – Sauna sessions double blood flow, enhancing oxygen delivery and removal of metabolic waste (Patrick & Johnson, 2021).
  • Reduced cardiovascular risk – Frequent sauna bathing lowers the risk of sudden cardiac death by 63%, fatal cardiovascular disease by 50%, and all-cause mortality by 40% (Laukkanen et al., 2015).
  • Significant pain relief – Combined spa and manual therapy reduces pain intensity by 57–81% in osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia patients (Cimbiz et al., 2005).
  • Superior to medication in some cases – Hot herbal compresses reduce pain more effectively than topical diclofenac in patients with myofascial pain (Boonruab et al., 2018; 2019).
  • Enhanced mobility and strength – Thermal hydrotherapy improves range of motion, muscle strength, walking speed, and flexibility, even in older adults (Whitlatch & Adema, 2005).
  • Lower blood pressure and improved heart function – Regular thermal therapy reduces resting heart rate and improves 24-hour blood pressure profiles (Zunnunov et al., 2004).
  • Better quality of life – Spa therapy improves mood, physical capacity, and overall enjoyment of life (Ekmekcioglu et al., 2005).
